About Franklin Bean

Dr. Franklin “Keith” Bean’s devotion to Indiana University runs deep, shaped by the scholarships that made it possible for him to pursue his education as an undergraduate. He now pays that generosity forward by supporting IU through the Well House Society and by establishing a scholarship in the College of Arts and Sciences. A retired OB/GYN, Keith remains deeply engaged with the IU community, whether cheering on the Hoosiers at basketball games or investing in future generations of students. His generosity reflects both appreciation for the opportunities he received and a heartfelt desire to ensure others can experience the same transformative impact of an IU education. We are deeply thankful for Keith’s enthusiasm, generosity, and steadfast commitment to Indiana University.
