About Jon Beinner

Jon and Laura Beinner have made a powerful impact at Indiana University through their thoughtful and values‑driven philanthropy. At the School of Public Health, they established the Beinner Family Professorship in Sports Marketing and Management, strengthening academic excellence and leadership in this growing field. Their generosity also supports the Jewish Studies Program through the Institute for the Study of Contemporary Antisemitism and the Beinner Family Programming and Outreach Fund. This support connects students to scholars in an effort to examine the roots and resurgence of antisemitism and to address it through education, dialogue, and scholarship. Alongside their academic engagement, the Beinners love attending IU sporting events with their son and experiencing campus life together. They are inspired by the meaningful impact they have been able to make in a short time, and we are deeply grateful for their commitment to IU’s mission and values.
