About Tim Hassinger

Tonia and Tim Hassinger have made a thoughtful commitment to sharing their good fortune with causes that create meaningful and lasting impact. Their connection to Indiana University is reflected through support of the Parents Fund and, most notably, their investment in the Academic Model Providing Access to Healthcare—AMPATH—where they help extend quality care to underserved communities, and especially children with disabilities and their families. Tonia’s deep involvement includes serving on the AMPATH development board and traveling to Kenya to better understand and advance the program’s life‑changing work. Together, their philanthropy reflects a shared belief in global health, access to care, and meeting people where help is needed most. We are deeply grateful to Tonia and Tim for their generosity, leadership, and commitment to improving lives through IU’s global partnerships.
