About Gregory Katzman

Dr. Gregory and Sandra Katzman’s connection to Indiana University is lifelong and deeply meaningful, rooted in Greg’s remarkable academic journey through IU—earning degrees in biological sciences, zoology, medicine, and completing his radiology residency all on the Bloomington and Indianapolis campuses. Today, Greg serves veterans and students alike through his leadership roles with the VA Medical Center and the IU School of Medicine, while continuing to proudly represent IU at athletic events. He and Sandra share a deep commitment to supporting student‑athletes, especially in non‑revenue men’s and women’s sports and in programs that elevate women’s excellence. Their philanthropy reflects both gratitude for the opportunities IU provided and a desire to help future Hoosiers pursue their passions with confidence and support. We are truly grateful for Greg and Sandra’s generosity, Hoosier spirit, and enduring impact on the IU community.
