Young‑Jin Kim is a distinguished global business leader whose education at Indiana University helped shape an extraordinary career in the pharmaceutical industry. A graduate of the Kelley School of Business, Kim has gone on to serve as chairman and chief executive officer of Handok Pharmaceuticals, one of Korea’s leading pharmaceutical companies, and has spent decades building bridges between industry, philanthropy, and international collaboration. Deeply committed to giving back, he has remained actively engaged with IU through leadership with the IU Alumni Association in Korea, service on the IU Foundation’s International Committee, and continued support of the Hamilton Lugar School. His philanthropy reflects a belief in education as a powerful force for global connection and mutual understanding. We are deeply grateful for Young‑Jin Kim’s lifelong dedication to Indiana University and for the international impact his leadership and generosity continue to make.
