This prestigious international exchange program supports students and young professionals of high achievement and potential to study at the graduate level, conduct research, or teach worldwide. The Fulbright Award was established in 1946 under legislation introduced by then-Senator J. William Fulbright of Arkansas and sponsored by the U.S. Department of state’s Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs.
