Dr. Don B. Lichtenberg received his PhD from University of Illinois in 1955. He held the rank of Associate Professor of Physics in the IU College of Arts and Sciences for a period of three academic years beginning in September, 1963. During the school year 1967-68, Professor Lichtenberg studied with Professor Yuval Ne'eman, serving as a visiting professor at Tel-Aviv University. More recently, he continued his service to IU as Professor Emeritus, Physics Department in the area of Elementary Particle Physics (Theoretical).
