Dr. Judith Ann Berling taught East Asian religions at Indiana University for thirteen years. She now teaches and writes in the fields of East Asian religions, Asian Christianities, Interreligious Learning, Theological Education, Interdisciplinary Studies, and interdisciplinary learning in religion and theology as Dean and Academic Vice President of the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley. She is a past president of the American Academy of Religion and of the American Society for the Study of Religion.
