George H. Belshaw won wrestling letters in 1930, 1931 and 1932 and was co-captain in 1932. He was on the Big Ten championship teams in 1930 and 1931 and was co-captain of the NCAA championship team in 1932. George was a Big Ten champion at 155 pounds in 1932. His 24-4 career record is the 10th best at IU, with a .857 winning percentage. He was inducted into the IU Athletics Hall of Fame in 2011.
