Robert Francis Palevich was an IPFW graduate, and he served as president of the Purdue at Fort Wayne Alumni Society from 1980-1981.

Palevich started his professional career as a systems analyst and project leader at the Do It Best Corp. in 1971. He quickly moved up the ladder holding positions of increasing responsibility in inventory control and logistics and retired as the global director of supply chain and e-business in 2003. Since his "retirement," Palevich has joined DSBMS as an advisor in the MBA program.

In recognition of his many contributions, Palevich was the recipient of the Distinguished Service Award from Purdue University in 2001. He was also invited to serve as the first Executive Professor in DSB in 2001, as well as receiving the IPFW Distinguished Alumni Service Award. In 2003, Palevich received the Doermer School of Business Distinguished Alumni Award.

Palevich received a Bachelor of Science in industrial supervision from Purdue University and an M.S.B.A. and MBA from Indiana University (IPFW). He has served as president of the Fort Wayne Toastmasters chapter and been actively involved in professional associations like American Hardware Manufacturers Association and American Production and Inventory Control Society.
