BIOGRAPHY

R. Michael Meneghini is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Orthopaedic Surgery, Director of Joint Replacement, IU Health Saxony Hospital, and part of the IU Health Physicians. He is also an Adjunct Professor, Department of Mechanical and Biomechanical Engineering at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Dr. Meneghini's orthopaedic practice is specialized to adult hip and knee reconstruction, which includes total hip and knee replacement, complex revision hip and knee replacement, unicompartmental or partial knee replacement and minimally invasive surgical techniques. Dr. Meneghini has a special interest in clinical and biomechanical orthopaedic research. He is also is the author of more than 40 peer-reviewed journal articles and numerous book chapters. Recently, he has "been chosen as one of the top emerging leaders among orthopedic surgeons." A selection committee of orthopedic experts and key opinion leaders voted on who they feel are the best up and coming talent within the field. Dr. Meneghini's accomplishments have awarded him
a spot among the top 40 winners.

Dr. Meneghini earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering at Rose-Hulman Institute in Terre Haute, IN. He graduated from IU School of Medicine in 1999 and completed his residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. He also completed a hip and knee replacement fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
