Lee was football coach from 1973-82 and led IU to its second ever post-season bowl appearance in the Holiday Bowl in 1979. He led the Hoosiers to their first bowl win with a 38-37 victory over Brigham Young and with the win, the squad finished ranked 16th in the final national poll. He is ranked as the third winningest IU football coach and third by a Hoosiers football coach in wins over Purdue. Corso also served as the head coach at Louisville and Northern Illinois. Since 1987, he has served as an analyst for ESPN on its College Gameday Show and Director of Business Development for Dixon Ticonderoga, a Florida based pencil manufacturing company.
