Jim Rayl


IUB Athletics Hall of Fame (1991)


Jim won basketball letters in 1961, 1962 and 1963 and was Indiana's Most Valuable Player in 1962. He was first team All-Big Ten in 1962 and 1963 and led the Big Ten in free throw percentage in 1963. Jim set IU single game scoring record with 56 points on two different occasions and averaged 20.6 points over his career. He is a member of the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame.
