The Crown Point, Indiana-native was a four-time First Team All-Summit League selection and was named the league's 2007 Offensive Player of the Year.

He opened his career by being selected as the Mid-Con's Newcomer of the Year and was a two-time NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region third team selection. He also holds the IUPUI school record for goals (4) and points (8) in a game in the Division I era and was a four-time Team MVP. He started 71 times in his college career, averaging better than a point per game and had nearly half of the program's game-winning goals during his four years.
