Rebecca Porter is the retired interim dean of the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and former associate vice chancellor for the Division of Enrollment Management.

She completed the following IU degrees: a B.S. in Physical Therapy in 1972; an M.S. in Allied Health Education in 1977; and a Ph.D. in Medical Neurobiology in 1991. She was presented with the Distinguished Teaching Award in the Division of Allied Health Sciences, IU School of Medicine, in 1982. In 1987, she was honored with the Outstanding Young Women of America Award.

Other honors include: Sagamore of State Road 37 (2000), IU Grand Marshall (2000-2007), as well as awards from the American Physical Therapy Association and IU Alumni Association.
