Knar Abrahamyan is pursuing a PhD in Music Theory. As a Fulbright fellow, Abrahamyan spent an academic year in Moscow where her research focused on the music of Dmitri Shostakovich and theoretical writings of Yuri Kholopov. Abrahamyan holds a BM in Piano Performance, a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, and MM in Piano Performance from Lee University, as well as a MM in Music Theory from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
