Lindsey Hively was a 2011 graduate of IPFW. She was the owner of Poptique Popcorn, with two retail stores in Columbia City and at Jefferson Pointe, and an online shop.

In May 2008, Hively opened Poptique Popcorn in Columbia City.The store was originally named, Kernel Coladas, but was later rebranded to its current name, Poptique Popcorn, in 2013.

As a young business woman, Hively was very active in her local community. She held membership in: the Columbia City Downtown Redevelopment Commission; the Millennial Leaders Alliance through the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership; the board of directors for the Whitley County Chamber of Commerce; the Fort Wayne Redevelopment Commission; and Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana.

Hively learned of her cancer diagnosis in September 2014, and will be remembered for her positive, upbeat attitude and grace.

Hively is survived by her parents, Gary and Carol; her brother, Derek; her fiance, Michael Hickman; and her grandmothers, Jeannie Hively and Sharon Pence.
