About Mauricio Fuks

Mauricio Fuks is Rudy Professor of Violin in the Jacobs School of Music at IU Bloomington. He has performed extensively throughout North and South America as a soloist, leading orchestral violinist and chamber musician.

Throughout his countless performances, Fuks has performed in top orchestra venues, recital halls, broadcasts and radio stations, and has performed alongside musical giants such as Pablo Casals, Zubin Mehta, Paul Rosenthal, Efrain Guigui, Andre Gagnon, Daniel Barenboim and Sir John Barbirolli. He has given nearly 200 masterclasses or other teachings as a resident across five continents at some of the world’s most prestigious institutions and festivals.
