Nomination Letter
The nomination letter should address:
- The nominee’s most relevant and impressive qualifications, qualities, and activities.
- How the nominee exceeds the standard of distinguished teaching, research, or service with an international focus.
- How the nominee has increased the overall internationalization of the university.
Preferably, the letter is from the respective department chair, dean, or vice chancellor or provost of academic affairs.
There should be no more than 1 nomination letter and it should not exceed 2 pages.
Nominee Statement
The nominee statement should address and provide evidence for:
- How the nominee integrates international programs and studies in their teaching, research, and service.
- Evidence of broadening the international education opportunities or globalizing curriculum on campus or abroad for Indiana University students.
- Evidence of developing or strengthening international partnerships to address global challenges.
- How the nominee embraces a variety of perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences to enrich our community and drive innovation through service.
The nominee statement should be no more than 3 pages, double-spaced.
Curriculum Vitae (CV)
The curriculum vitae should be:
- Up to date
- Focused on the individual’s international engagements, programs, and studies
Letters of Support
This section should include:
- 3 letters of support that document the nominee’s contributions in international teaching, research, service, and engagement and their impact on students, faculty, and the overall internationalization of the university.
These letters should be 1-2 pages in length.
