The Rhodes Scholarship was created in 1902 through the will and bequest of Cecil John Rhodes and is administered by the Rhodes Trust. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious international scholarship programs in the world. The scholarship allows young leaders from around the globe to study at Oxford University, with the intention of creating bonds and mutual understanding through education that would benefit mankind. Students are selected based on their intellect, character, leadership, and commitment to service.
