The Churchill Scholarship was created by Sir Winston Churchill with help from his American friends and financiers as a way for young Americans to study at Cambridge. The scholarship provides for one year of graduate study leading to a degree in engineering, mathematics, and/or the sciences at Cambridge University, England.
The first scholarship was awarded in 1963, and today, only 15 scholarships are available each year. These IU awardees are part of an exclusive group of students who showed tremendous academic achievement and leadership skills.
