The Churchill Scholarship was created by Sir Winston Churchill with help from his American friends and financiers as a way for young Americans to study at Cambridge. The scholarship provides funding for study in either a one-year program or a three-year doctorate program at the Churchill College, which specializes in sciences and technology.
The first scholarship was awarded in 1963, and today, only 15 scholarships are available each year. These IU awardees are part of an exclusive group of students who showed tremendous academic achievement and leadership skills.
