Part of a long tradition at IU, a titled professorship is an honor for outstanding scholars, teachers, and researchers conferred with official titles including distinguished professorships, titled and endowed chairs, and university professorships.
These faculty members have made immense contributions to the teaching and research done at IU. They improve the academic experience for students and enhance their communities. This is true of Chancellor’s Professor Elizabeth Kryder-Reid who helped develop a community-based experiential learning program that benefits both museum studies students and the organizations they serve.
Recipients are part of the Alliance of Distinguished and Titled Professors.
