About Martha Orrico-Visscher

Martha (Marty) Orrico-Visscher received her B.A. in Chemistry from the University of Maine in 1969. At Indiana University, she then earned her Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry in 1973, and a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Chemistry in 1974.

She is a Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and the Executive Director and Scientific Investigator in the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center at the University of Cincinnati. Visscher specializes in skin research, focusing on infant skin development, and the effects of the environment and skin treatment products on the skin.
