Richard (Rick) Dennen came to Indiana University's Bloomington campus in the fall of 1983 on a swimming scholarship after being an Indiana State High School Swimming Champion and the State of Indiana Swimmer of the Year. At IU Rick competed in distance freestyle events under legendary coach Doc Counsilman, and was named captain of the swim team both his Junior and Senior year. He was an NCAA qualifier and 3rd in the Big Ten Championships.
After his graduation from IU with a B.S. in Accounting in 1988, Rick went back to his alma mater for an MBA from the Kelley School of Business in 1997. In 2003 he became the Founder, Chairman, President and CEO of Oak Street Funding. Oak Street was recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Indiana for 2013 and 2014, and an Indiana Company to Watch in 2012. Rick continues to grow Oak Street Funding today.
