Richard E. Woosnam received a B.S., and an M.B.A. from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. He also earned a J.D. from IU’s School of Law. Woosnam was an actively engaged student, serving on the IU Student Foundation Steering Committee and the Union Board. He currently serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council at IU’s Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies.
Woosnam is president of Innovest Group, Inc. He is also the chairman and president of New York Achievement, L.L.C., Innovest Talent Services, Inc., and Capital Management Corporation.
Woosnam is a business leader and advocate for the greater Philadelphia arts community, the chairman of the Walnut Street Theatre, and a vice chairman of the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia. Woosnam is a Director at Arts & Business Council of Greater Philadelphia. He also serves as a trustee of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and on the Board of the Zoological Society of Philadelphia, the Foreign Policy Research Institute, Philadelphia Hospitality, Indiana University Foundation, Fairmount Park Conservancy, and several other Philadelphia area cultural organizations. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Indiana Bar Association, and the Union League of Philadelphia. Woosnam has been recognized with honors and awards, including Indiana University’s Bicentennial Medal, in recognition of his distinguished contributions.
