About Martha Ellen Stott

Martha, a native to North Carolina, earned a B.S. at Greensboro College, Greensboro, North Carolina. She completed a master's degree in Religious Education from Drew university in Madison, New Jersey, and a Master's of Social Work from IUPUI in 1970. She worked as a Medical Social Worker for 26 years at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.

Martha was a long-time member of Union Chapel Methodist Church, and served on the board of directors for the Little Red Door and Jamison Health Camp for Children. She was an active member of the IU Alumni Association, and a proud recipient of the Maynard Hine Award.
