Dr. Paul Siebenmorgan, a 1944 graduate of IUSM, was a physician specializing in family medicine from 1947 to 2000 in his hometown of Terre Haute, IN.
Dr. Siebenmorgan received his B.S. in Education from Indiana State Teachers College in 1941 and then received his MD from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1944. He served his internships at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis from 1944-1945 and was a Captain in the Medical Corps of the U.S. Army during World War II.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Siebenmorgen was Associate Clinical Faculty at the Terre Haute Center for Medical Education from 1974 �" 2000, Indiana University School of Medicine, Dept. of Family Medicine Preceptor from 1968 �" 2000, St. Anthony School of Nursing Infectious Disease Instructor from 1948 �" 1958, and Indiana State University School of Nursing Clinical Instructor from 1960 �" 1970.
He was active in the professional and local community. His professional affiliations included the American Medical Association where he was the 1986 Chairman of the Indiana Delegation to the A.M.A. ; trustee of the Indiana State Medical Association, past president of the Vigo County Medical Society and many more. Dr. Siebenmorgan was active in his church and the local Boy Scout troops in Terre Haute. In addition, he won numerous awards including the Distinguished Alumni Award.
