About Paul "Pooch" Harrell

Paul played football and baseball from 1926-29 and assistant football coach from 1930-48, baseball coach from 1939-47, and Athletic Diretor 1948-54. He set an IU career batting record with .404 average and holds IU record with and 86-yard punt. He played a key role in creation of golf course, Memorial Stadium and Assembly Hall.
