Larissa Collier, traveled to Denmark analyzing skeletal samples dating from Roman Iron Age (1-400 AD). Her analysis focuses on determining the prevalence of violent trauma within this period and exploring how bioarchaeological evidence compares to archaeological and historical accounts of violence.
She is collaborating with the National Museum of Denmark and the University of Copenhagen funded by Fulbright and American-Scandinavian Foundation fellowships.
