Amy Hirschtick was recently awarded a Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad Fellowship with which she will conduct field research in northern India from May 2013 until March 2014. Amy is writing a dissertation on the everyday Hindu worship of material things (murtis, pratimas) as forms of god.
