Thomas H. Hughes was the president of Zimmer and Bristol-Myers Squibb, a health care group based in Warsaw, IN. He spent 25 years with the company before retiring in 1990 and moving to Sarasota, FL.
Hughes earned his B.S. in marketing at Indiana University in 1951 and was inducted into the Kelley School of Business Academy of Alumni Fellows.
formerly of Warsaw, and most recently of Sarasota, Fla. and Lake Wawasee, Syracuse, Ind. died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, following complications with pneumonia. Born in Muncie, Ind., he received his B.S. degree in marketing at Indiana University. He had a highly successful 25 year career at Zimmer and Bristol-Myers Squibb, where he retired in 1990 as president of the health care group.
