Vangel Nacovski (2004-07) set the bar as one of the top offensive players in the IUPUI men's soccer program's history, totaling 37 goals (15 game-winners), 15 assists and 89 points over his four-year career. The Crown Point, Ind.-native was a four-time First Team All-Summit League selection and was named the league's 2007 Offensive Player of the Year. He opened his career by being selected as the Mid-Con's Newcomer of the Year and was a two-time NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region third team selection. He also holds the IUPUI school record for goals (4) and points (8) in a game in the Division I era and was a four-time Team MVP. He was selected as co-recipient of the IUPUI Mel Garland Distinguished Student-Athlete honoree following his senior year and was a two-time Academic All-Summit League honoree.
He started 71 times in his college career, averaging better than a point per game and had nearly half of the program’s game-winning goals during his four years.
Nacovski earned his degree in Physical Education and is now the Director of Coaching for the Millennium Vardar soccer club in Northern Indiana. He becomes the fifth former men's soccer player to earn Hall of Fame honors.
