- School of Nursing Excellence in Nursing Award - 1986
Dr. Hilda A. Frazier was an associate professor and former director of MSN Telecourses at the Indiana University School of Nursing, a position from which she retired in 1990. She was also a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honorary; Pi Lambda Theta, Educational Honorary; and the First Baptist Church of Indianapolis. She was a Docent at the Indianapolis Museum of Art for 14 years, from 1990 until her death in 2004.
During her time at IU, Dr. Frazier taught in the graduate department of psychiatric and mental health nursing, specializing in areas of individual and group therapy. In 1986, she received the School of Nursing Special Recognition Award.
