G. Kent Frandsen was associate professor of law and associate dean for student affairs at the Indiana University School of Law. Frandsen served 23 years with the university, and was a city judge in Lebanon, IN.
The G. Kent Frandsen Scholarship was established in his honor, and made possible by contributions from friends, colleagues, the Frandsen family, and former recipients of the scholarship. Designed to provide support for incoming students, the G. Kent Frandsen Scholarship, the scholarship is awarded according to the following criteria: demonstrated leadership ability, undergraduate extracurricular activity and grade-point average, financial need, and community involvement, with a preference for Indiana residents.
