About Sherwood Oaks Christian Church

Sherwood Oaks Christian Church is a non-denominational multi-site church that strives to make a positive change in Bloomington and the world. They offer worship in-person and online, including a Hispanic location. The lead minister is Shawn Green, who has been in this position since August 2020. He and his wife, Amber, have two daughters. Sherwood Oaks offers unlimited access to RightNow Media, a video Bible study library with over 20,000 videos covering a wide array of topics, including marriage, parenting, and mental health. Sherwood Oaks is a leading diversity advocator, paving the way for a more welcoming society.

In recognition of their unwavering support to the diverse communities of Bloomington, Indiana, Sherwood Oaks Christian Church was presented with the Distinguished International Service Award by David Zaret in 2014.
