About Robert Nickovich

Robert Nickovich began working for the Lake County Parks shortly after graduating from IU Bloomington, and currently serves as the organization's superintendent. During his time with the county, the department expanded its single park to the 12-park county system that exists today. Bob has served on the boards of NACPRO and the Legacy Foundation. In 2008, Bob was named Professional of the Year, the highest award given by the Indiana Parks and Recreation Association, for his continued dedication to park development and service.
