Robert Killingsworth is a leader in health promotion, having advising projects in over 300 communities; presenting and authoring numerous papers and collaborating on research with the Centers for Disease Control, National Institutes of Health, National Academy of Sciences, and the World Health Organization. Killingsworth received a BS in Community Health Education from Indiana State University, and completed his MPH at Indiana University. He went on to earn his PhD in Architecture, Culture, and Behavior at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Killingsworth currently serves as the Chief of Health Promotion and Disease Prevention for the Delaware Division of Public Health. Previously, he worked as director of the National Foundation on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition, director of both the Harvest Foundation and the Ruth Mott Foundation, and coordinated wellness programs for the U.S. Army and the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
