Amyra Asamoah is a senior at Indiana University double majoring in Economics and Communication and Culture. Originally from Fishers, Indiana, Amyra has embraced the IU community and is heavily involved in campus life. Amyra is a Hoosier Scholar, a member of Phi Beta Kappa National Honors Society, historian of the IU African Students’ Association, and a campus tour guide. Amyra has also participated in the IU Dance Marathon to raise money for Riley Children’s Hospital. Amyra has also studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark and has interned in Washington D.C. as part of a foreign policy think tank to investigate the state of entrepreneurship in developing countries.
