About Jonathan Hawkins

Jonathan Hawkins was the first Herman B. Wells scholar from his hometown in Charleston, Illinois. At Indiana University, Hawkins studied Economics, Math, and Computer Science. While at IU, he served as president of the Economics Club and as treasurer of the Math Club. Hawkins also helped found MoneySmarts, which is an organization where peer mentors help fellow students plan for their financial life after college. Hawkins will continue his study of economics as a Ph.D. candidate at Yale University.
