About Mark Murphy

Mark, a student-athlete from the Clevland Ohio area, graduated from IU with a B.S. in Informatics and was an IU Founders Scholar. Outside of the classroom Mark was a defensive back and captain of the IU Men’s Football Team. Mark accrued a long list of achievements while playing for IU including being named; NFF National Scholar-Athlete Honoree and William V. Campbell Trophy finalist, 2-time Capital One Academic All-American, Jack D. Trichenor Awardee, Rated Number 6 Smartest College Football Player by NFL.com, and Big Ten Sportsmanship Awardee. While apart of the team, Mark and his teammates received awards such as; 3-time Academic All-Big Ten Team, 3-time Capital One Academic All-District V Team, and First-Team All-Big Ten Freshman Team.
