About Aaron Olson

Aaron Olson, of Newburgh, IN, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Public and Nonprofit Management; as a student in the SPEA 3-2 program, he also completed a Master of Public Affairs in Nonprofit Management and Policy Analysis.

Olson was involved with the First Year Experience Program at IU, serving as an Orientation Leader and as the Student Coordinator. He was also the President of the IU Student Alumni Association. As an undergraduate, Olson wrote a blog for the We Are IU website. Olson was also elected to the IU Homecoming Court in 2013.

He gained professional experience while at IU as an Economic Empowerment Program Intern for the International Rescue Committee and as a Microfinance Intern for the Foundation for Sustainable Development. After completing his Masters degree, Olson become Associate Director of Regional Advancement at the Indiana University Foundation.
