About Mary Kate Doherty

Mary Kate Doherty graduated with a major in Communications and Culture with certificates in Journalism, Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication as well as a minor in History. Originally from Lake Forest, Illinois, Doherty was involved on IU's campus as a student intern in the Office of Scholarships.

While an undergraduate, Doherty worked as an editorial intern, staff writer, and photographer for Forest and Bluff Magazine. She also gained professional experience as a marketing and communications intern for Moorfields Eye Hospital in London.

Doherty began her professional career as an Account Executive with The Judge Group, then later became a Technical Recruiter for Codeworks, Inc.
