About Lang Li

Dr. Lang Li completed his bachelor's degree in 1991 at the Wuhan University of Technology in China. He came to the United States to complete an M.A. in 1996 at the University of New Mexico and a Ph.D. in Biostatistics at the University of Michigan in 2001. After completing his Ph.D., Dr. Li came to IUPUI, where he became an Associate Professor of Medical and Molecular Genetics, Biostatistics, and Clinical Pharmacology.

Dr. Li's research focuses are drug interaction and pharmacogenomics. His lab uses statistics, biomedical informatics, pharmacometrics, and system pharmacology approaches to investigate drug interactions and genomics effects on drug efficacies and adverse drug events.

Dr. Li has served as the Associate and Interim Director of the Center for Computation Biology and Bioinformatics. He has also been the director of Bioinformatics Core and the Associate Director of the Indiana Institute of Personalized Medicine.
