Since graduating from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business in 1986 with a marketing degree and earning an MBA at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, Mary Delaney has contributed to the significant growth of such businesses as CareerBuilder and InterCall, Inc. She is currently the President of Recruiting Software Solutions at CareerBuilder, overseeing the development and operations of their global software platform business
Widely known as an employment expert, Delaney has regularly appeared in the Harvard Business Review and on CNN, FOX, and CBS National Radio. She received the Stevie Award in 2006 for Best Sales Executive, and was recognized by Profiles in Diversity Journal as a Woman Worth Watching in 2007.
She joined the IU Dean's Advisory Council in 2011, where she quickly was instrumental in the School's successful BEST (Building Entrepreneurship in Science and Technology) competition. Shortly thereafter she agreed to co-chair the School's first national fundraising campaign. She additionally serves on the boards of Horizons for Youth, Campus Protein, and Broadbean, and is a fellow at Leadership Great Chicago.
