Donna Hovey is a Vice President specializing in Retail Brokerage Services in Indianapolis, Indiana, focusing on tenant representation, landlord representation and land sales. Ms. Hovey has been successful in guiding her clients through real estate transactions by managing the entire real estate process. Ms. Hovey began her career at CBRE in 2005 in retail brokerage. At that time, there had not been a retail practice in the local office for several years. As an integral part of the effort, she has helped recruit new talent and build brand over the past several years. She has done work with notable local companies like Marsh Supermarkets, Duke Realty Investments, Teachers Credit Union and Duke Energy.
Prior to working at CBRE, Hovey was Vice President of Marketing for Duke Realty Corporation. Before joining Duke, she served for ten years as Vice President of Community Relations for Visiting Nurse Service in Indianapolis. She received her bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at IUPUI.
Hovey served as a mentor for Aftercare Through Mentoring at IUPUI (AIM) -- working with young women at the Girls School of Indiana in 2001. Since then, she has worked with the program director to design: a renewal plan for AIM’s AmeriCorps grant, a plan to ensure the program’s continuation, and a program to restructure the AIM Advisory Board. Hovey’s dedication to AIM, a transition program for young men and women preparing them to return to their home community after they have been incarcerated, is commendable. She is also involved with the IUPUI Library, the Peace Learning Center, and serves as a board member with Project INROADS. She also serves as President of IndyCREW (Indianapolis Commercial Real Estate Women).
