Michael Winter started his career as a visionary IT innovator when he co-founded Prologix Systems Integration, Inc., a control systems integration firm that serves both manufacturing and processing companies primarily in the Midwest. After acting as President of the company for 12 years, he accepted a position as President of Virtual Financial Services, Inc. (VIFI).
Winter has long demonstrated a belief the industry/university partnerships create unique opportunities for students to experience technology development projects that simulate the working working. During his time at VIFI, Winter made financial contributions and worked with IUPUI and Ali Jafari to establish the Cyberlab at IUPUI. At the time, Cyberlab was the first off-campus, high tech lab of this kind. Winter has also supported the school by serving as Vice Chair of the Dean's Industrial Advisory Council.
Winter left VIFI in 2002 to join fiVISION as its President and CEO.
