About Larue Carter Memorial Hospital

Larue D. Carter Memorial Hospital is a psychiatric hospital. The Hospital houses the Indiana University Psychotic Disorders Clinic. This research program at Larue D. Carter Memorial Hospital is dedicated to improving psychiatric treatment through the investigation of new and existing treatments for a variety of mental illnesses. Its primary goal is the continual improvement of treatment for persons with mental illness through ongoing evaluation of novel therapies and therapeutic approaches in programmatic studies that evaluate the safety, tolerability, efficacy and feasibility of such treatments.
