Gregg T. Summerville, an Indiana native, earned his BA in zoology and animal biology from IU in 1969, and his MBA in finance in 1972. Alongside his wife, Judy, they have established themselves as leaders in philanthropy through giving Indiana University countless hours of service, in addition to helping strategically advance many initiatives and supporting multiple IU campaigns.
Gregg started his financial career with Mellon Bank, N.A. Since 2006, he has been president of Tecumseh Capital Partners, LLC. Throughout his career, Gregg has been dedicated not only to his fiduciary responsibilities, but also to his volunteerism and growing family. Outside of Indiana University, he serves on the boards of Broadsword Management LLC and Indiana State Museum.
Gregg has been engaged with IUPUC as an advisory board member since 2011 and chaired the board in 2017-18. He has been a For All: The Indiana University Bicentennial Campaign co-chair since 2014. He works closely with the IUPUC development department in planning strategy, making personal asks, and prospecting and soliciting major gifts. In addition to the volunteer hours Gregg has devoted to IUPUC, he also has been a member of the IU Foundation Board of Directors since 2004 and chaired the board's Investment Committee from 2008-14. He also serves on the Eskenazi Museum of Art National Advisory Board.
The couple's combined impact is made clear through the Gregg T. and Judith A. Summerville Endowed Chair in Finance at the Kelley School of Business, the Summerville Family Scholarship at IUPUC, and countless other initiatives.
