About Lucy Brown

Lucy Brown, recipient of the Kate Hevner Mueller Outstanding Senior Award, was a triple major in Biology, Spanish and International Studies. While at IU, Brown was a member of the Independent Council for Women, Little 500, Hutton Ambassador's Program, Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students, Sigma Iota Rho International Studies Honors Fraternity, College Luminaries, Model UN, U Bring Change 2 Mind, and Phi Eta Sigma Honors Society. She served as teaching assistant in the Political Science Department, and was a student assistant at RPS Libraries. from 2016-18, she worked closely with the regional Peace Corps recruiter as a Campus Ambassador Intern. From 2016-18, Brown was an undergraduate researcher in the biology department where she studied the function of the Cdc55 protein.
