Parker Ray Henry was a Linguistics and International Studies major at IU. His college activities included playing trumpet in the Indiana University Marching Hundred, and membership in the Books & Beyond Service Learning Project and Phi Beta Kappa. Parker studied global development and social change while visiting Cameroon in 2017 with Study Abroad, Development and Social Change. In 2012, when he was just a junior in high school, he attended a college preparatory school in the Czech Republic. His volunteer experiences include work with a variety of agencies: Middle Way House, Volunteers in Tutoring Adult Learners, American Field Service, Boys & Girls Clubs of American and the Sioux YMCA. He received a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program grant in 2019 for a teaching assistantship to teach English in the Czech Republic.
